Greetings from Winx Club Fansubs! Want to know about us? Well currently we're dedicating to fansubbing the original Italian show Winx Club onto English-subtitled fansubs.
Alright, so you may be asking yourself why we're in the business of fansubbing a show that is not only licensed but also already airing on 4Kids.TV (as well as a few other English-speaking countries). Three reasons:
1. This show is actually originally from Italy (the same country that brought us W.i.t.c.h., prompting many comparisons between the two shows). Most fans are unaware of it's origins and seem to think it was originally created by 4Kids when it's not.
2. Like all of 4Kids' acquired programming, the version 4Kids.TV airs is significantly different from the original. (This page is dedicated to pointing out these differences.) Also some people have avoided show because of it's connection to 4Kids, whether because they think it's an original 4Kids production or because they're aware of the edits to their version
3. We'd like to help drum up support and demand for an original reason in America for dual/uncut dvd's. But 4kids dvd's politics isn't the main reason, most of all this is just a really fun show that we'd like to introduce people to the original version of. That's what we're here for.
