Narrator- "Last time on Dragon Ball Z... Babidi set into motion another one of his sinister schemes. The wizard's plan? To draw Piccolo, Trunks and Goten out of hiding and feed them to the monster Majin Buu."
Obviously, after being clawed in two by Piccolo and left to painfully die in a pool of his own blood, Babidi isn't going to all this trouble to find them just to quickly kill them. The guy's anxious for revenge and he wants to make them suffer. If Babidi wanted them dead right away then he'd just have Buu blow up the planet.

Goku- "Darn it! He's made his point already!"
Darn it? Goku originally didn't say damn or darn or anything remotely resembling even a light swear word. He simply commented that Babidi was getting too confident. Funimation's getting just a little bit too fond of pseudo-swear words if ya ask me...

Babidi- "There's really no point in protecting them, they are NOT your friends! They are spineless cowards! If they valued your lives at all they would have already turned themselves over to me! Obviously they don't! Well, shame on them I say!"
Here Babidi's trying to convince the world that Piccolo, Trunks and Goten are bad guys who don't deserve any protection... in addition to threatening to kill everybody on the planet in 5 days, which is originally all that he said. Threaten to kill me, my family, the people I'm hiding, and everyone on this whole planet if I don't turn my friends over? Ha, like that's not going to stop me from protecting them! But try to convince me the friends I'm hiding are actually bad guys? Hmm.... then maybe I SHOULD turn them in...

(4 sec.) A "historical moment" of sorts for Season 6- the first bit of blood to be cut and the first first obvious edit of Season 6. In the tv version it cuts from right after the monk's head puffs up and crushes his glasses to just before we see Babidi talking. What we don't see is the guy's head exploding and his body falling to the floor. Also, as usual the bgm skips ahead a little bit here like it does for every cut since Season 2 ended. This is because all of the music that was composed was made for the "uncut" video versions of the episodes.

When Piccolo entered the Tenkaichi Budokai/World Martial Arts Tournament he went under the alias "Ma Junior," which is also the name the English version goes with. This name is actually a combination of English and Japanese- "Ma" meaning "Demon" and "Junior" meaning, of course, Junior! Thus, Demon Jr. They probably could have gotten away with calling him Demon Jr. but it is kind of cool that they went with his Japanese name.

Piccolo- "Crap! Damn him!" to "Curse him!" Curse him? Ugh.... now I know damn good and well that they could get away with at least saying the word "crap" on tv if they really wanted to. Sadly, even their "uncut" versions don't curse, except for calling "HFIL" by it's real name "HELL." After reviewing all 5 of their movies I didn't see 1 single curse word, not even the very modest and light "crap" so I doubt they'd include any for the episodes if they didn't even bother to include any for the movies. Speaking of which, if any of you guys out there have seen any of the uncut English episodes then please e-mail me and let me know about any of the dialogue changes they make from the tv version.

In the dub Kibito comments that none of the Kai's, not even Supreme Kai were able to pull out the Z sword. Actually his name is "Kaioshin" which means "Supreme God of the Universe." Also, "sama" which means "Lord" and is used as sign of strong respectly almost always follows every mention of his name. But my complaint isn't with the dub's name or their lack of using the "too religious" word "Lord," but rather that the only people who've been to his planet prior to Gohan have just been other Kaioshins and Kibito. King Kai, Grand Kai, and East/South/West Kai have never been there and have never even seen the Z sword.

(just before he's about to try and pull a powerful, holy sword from a stone) Gohan- "This reminds me of an old story..." to "This might sound strange but it feels like I've done this before."
I can't believe Funi's script writers actually changed this. Usually they cut out anything that sounds "too Japanese" and they dump in "American cultural references" all over the place. However, this time they're CHANGING a western cultural reference. Not only that but it's intelligent one as opposed to something obnoxious like comparing Goku to "da Great Houdini or somethin" after watching him teleport. If Japanese audiences would be familiar with the story of Excalibur then why do they think that American audiences would be too dumb to know anything about it? Sheesh, talk about an insult to the viewer's intelligence.
