I'm going to keep fighting
By: GreatSaiyaman777
Pretty much everybody and their dog seems to have given up hope on Funimation because most of Dragon Ball is over, and they see no more hope of improvement ever.
Not I.
I started DBZU II because I felt betrayed by Funimation's actions, and because I want to let other people know why the dub had been screwed over. Plus, I wanted the dubbing of the series to improve. I've already converted a lot of people and intend on converting more. I will review Seasons 6 and 7 just as Chris Psaros reviewed Seasons 1, 2 and 3. And just look at the difference between Movie 7 and 8- not much in relation to a percentage of the whole series, but still a HUGE improvement. Basically from their single worst DBZ dub ever to one of their top best.
I know that, with time, optimism dies down. That's why most of the early-era DBZ webmasters and anti-Funi people are all gone- over the years of crappy dubbing, Funimation has just worn them down. That's probably why the spirits of many of you out there have died down too.
Maybe I'm just saying this because I'm still young and fresh to the DBZ community.... but I'm going to keep fighting. So long as Neel Bligh's a script writer, I'm going to keep fighting.
So long as Gen Fukunaga keeps greedily, spinelessly and arrogantly stabbing his race and culture in the back while selling out the art and fans by censoring his so-called "Uncut" version simply to appeal to the lowest-common denominator of the most-easily offended groups of people, I'm going to keep fighting.
So long as they keep hiring shitty bands and untalented hacks from Dallas to cheaply replace brilliantly composed music with cheap inferior crap, I'm going to keep fighting.
So long as they keep cutting stuff including even extras out of the DBZ movies for no discernably logical reason at all, I'm going to keep fighting.
So long as Bruce Faulconer's cat keeps running across a keyboard, or one of his college "transparent" music "helpers" does their own "magic" on a casio keyboard, I'm going to keep fighting.
DBZ may pretty much be over, and there be only a little bit left. Most of the fans in America may have no idea what true DBZ is or how horribly they're being betrayed, and probably and unfortunately never will. However, until the last of DBZ has been dubbed, or unless Funimation ever cleans up their act for good... I'm going to keep fighting.
